CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Iranian Sebt Tour does not only deal with travel and organize tours for Iran. We also deal with expanding the knowledge of this country through conferences on modern architecture, archeology and religions.

With the collaboration of German and Italian universities we try to connect and make known the union in our cultures, between Iran and Europe, a cultural enrichment for our agency that influences our tours.
We will keep you updated on our past and future conferences.

The Innovative Journey of Iran Sebt Tour towards "Responsible and Sustainable Tourism"

In 2020, the world saw an epidemic, Covid-19, which led to the decline of tourism. Therefore, the Sebt Tour agency decided to review the content of trips and identified new opportunities. As a result, we identified, classified, filmed, and produced content about this heritage and the existing potential in these areas, which can be combined with the traditional routes of Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Kerman, and Tehran.

One of the provinces is Golestan, with Gorgan as its capital, in the northeast, near the Caspian Sea and bordering Turkmenistan. Due to its diversity, it is a natural gallery with rare trees, such as yews in the Hyrcanian forests, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Diverse and traditional cuisine and caviar production are components of its culinary culture, as is its ethnic, religious diversity, languages, music, and craftsmanship influenced by immigration from Central Asia, Anatolia, Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, and the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.

Another province is Khorasan Razavi, with the holy city of Mashhad as its capital, one of the major religious centers in the Islamic world. It is a remarkable pillar in welcoming tourists and is one of the most important provinces in Iran, with significant appeal for responsible and sustainable tourism programs.

Palaces, castles, towers, fire temples, pre-Islamic windmills and watermills, ancient mosques, aqueducts, wind towers, and natural refrigeration chambers from Islamic times attract visitors from yesterday and today.

Among the architectural features, you can see palaces, domes, and minarets of Greater Khorasan, one of the common elements of the Silk Road.

The cultivation and production of saffron are another rare phenomenon in the primary economic activity.

The province of Hormozgan and its historic port of Bandar Abbas have been a pearl in the Persian Gulf for thousands of years.

Navigation, a pillar of trade relations, cultural exchange, and peaceful interaction across the continents of Africa, Europe, and India, has facilitated convergence, cultural rapprochement, and trade.

Women play a key role in the art of handicrafts and their marketing, especially in the old bazaar of Minab. Their traditional masks from the era of resistance against Portuguese invaders in the 16th century offer a unique attraction in the role of women in cultural promotion.

The islands of Kish, Qeshm, and Hormoz are important destinations in southern Iran. The diversity of marine animals, red and silver sandy beaches, and marine archaeological sites are among the main attractions in specialized travel programs.
